beautiful vintage huge pine trunk dome chest / ottoman in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire for sale
This is a huge old trunk it measures 44"l x 24"w x 32"h. Probably pine. It originally came off a ship and was the bread storage chest. It is very old and very battered, it has lots of old worm holes which are dead and have been treated, bangs and knocks, if you are looking for a pristine chest it definatley is not for you. However it would look perfect in a lovely old cottage / barn conversion. It is unique and I doubt whether you will find another similar and so large. It has an opening top with candle tray and one draw at the bottom, both with dummy keyholes, it has wrought iron handles at both ends and is beautiful, it always gets lots of great comments from visitors. You will struggle to find one so large, can deliver local for fuel.
